There are many reason to get your bike fit, you could have just acquired a new bike and want it set-up properly , looking to solve an aggravation, injury prevention or perhaps you are looking to be as efficient as possible. Whatever your reason, we work to understand why you are coming to see us first and then to achieve the best possible outcome .
We work with riders of all levels and styles. Our specialty lies in bike set-up with the goal of the best fitting bike for your specific discipline
Fitting Prices:
Mountain/ flat handlebar bike fit and set-up: $195
Road/ drop bar bike fitting: $195
Tri or any bike with aerobars fit: $225
Cleat and seat fitting: $125 (be aware this may end up being a standard fit)
Flat pedal fit: $150
Please bring your bike and cycling shoes and wear your normal riding clothing.
Bike fits normally take 1-2hrs.

Ted German, PT, AAS, BA, DPT, CIMT, CPRS, has over 25 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy. He has been helping cyclists reduce pain and optimize performance since 2007. In addition to his role at Neff Cycle Service, Ted works at Group Health Cooperative in Madison, WI with special interests in endurance athletes and spine patients. Ted has been racing bikes since 2000 when he competed in his first triathlon. He finished Ironman Wisconsin in 2006. Formerly active in road racing and time trials, Ted now focuses primarily on racing cyclocross and MTB. Dr. German’s education includes a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from St. Catherine University, Minneapolis, MN and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from Concordia University, St. Paul, MN. He is a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist, Certified Pilates Rehabilitation Specialist, and is certified in Functional Dry Needling.
The Physical Therapy bike fit is designed for the cyclist who is looking to optimize their position on the bike as well as address any physical concerns that may be affecting their function as a cyclist through a comprehensive full body evaluation. During the appointment you can expect PT treatment above and beyond what you will typically experience at a traditional insurance-driven therapy visit. As appropriate, your treatment may include but not limited to soft tissue mobilization, cupping, dry needling, joint mobilization, muscle energy, and myofascial release. You will also be provided with a comprehensive home exercise program.
Fitting Prices:
PT bike fitting: $350
Please bring your bike and cycling shoes and wear your normal riding clothing.
Bike fits normally take 3hrs.
